The Process and Price
Capturing high resolution image : At
Advanced
Photo Lab
we start with Capturing High
Resolution Digital Image from your original art or
painting using
latest innovative processes and technologically advanced
equipment available. This is the most important part of
process because without the perfect digital image we can
never get the perfect Giclee print.
The size of the image captured (MEGs) is determined by the
size of the final print size required. If the artist needs
digital images for emailing, slide show presentation or for
submission to contest entry, only in that case, there may
not be a need for HI RES images. Please see the chart below
and chose the type of image you need.We capture images from
original art & paintings up to 72"x100" in our professional
studio
| Up to 12 meg jpg file (adequate for e-mailing and making small prints up to 8x10 | ||
| Up to 50 meg tiff file (adequate for Giclee prints up to 20x30) | ||

Color matching to your
original art & proofing: After your high quality
images are captured, we digitally color match to your
original Master art. Then 8”x10” proofs will be printed on
the paper choice requested (all profs are 8” x 10”
regardless of the actual size ordered). At the
conclusion of the proofing process the artist (or customer)
will approve the final proof.

Museum Quality Archival
Giclee prints: Giclee prints will be printed on
canvas or art paper (both are archival), unlike most giclee
printing places we charge only for image area, not to the
canvas size. All the giclee prints are archival according to
independent research institutes and will last up to 150
years in normal indoor display. For further protection, a UV
protective coating is applied on all of our canvas giclee
prints.
